Monticello/Wayne County
9-1-1 Board
A seven (7) member board. Four (4) members are appointed due to thier psoitions of responsibilities (Chief of Police, Sheriff, Monticello Fire Dept. Chief, and Director of EMS) The fifth member is appointed by the Judge/Executive, the sixth is appointed by the Mayor and the seventh member is appointed jointly by agreement tothe the Judge/Executive and the Mayor. Appointed members serve a four (4) year term.

Wayne County Tax Appeals Board
Appointments to the Wayne County Tax Appeals Board are governed by KRS 133.020.
This is three person board. One to be appointed by the county judge/executive, one to be appointed by the fiscal court, and one to be appointed by the mayor of the city. Each person is appointed to serve for a three year term. A board member who has served for a full term shall not be eligible for reappointment. However, they shall be elible for appointment after a hiatus of three years.
