PUBLIC NOTICE
The Wayne County Fiscal Court will hold second reading of an ordinance relating to the creation of a volunteer fire department district for the Parnell and Bugwood Communities of Wayne County, Kentucky on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 6 p.m. in the Fiscal Courtroom at the Wayne County Courthouse.
Summary: Upon petition of residents in compliance with KRS 65.182, the Wayne County Fiscal Court does hereby create the Parnell Volunteer Fire Department to encompass the area bordered from West Hwy 92 at mile marker # 3.9, thence to Beaver Creek Resort, thence to the end of Hwy 674, thence to the beginning to be governed by a Board of Trustees under the guidelines of KRS 75.100 – KRD 75.260.
